The Grayscale Townhouse project will feature Miami Beach's first residential building to achieve both LEED and WELL building certification.
Designed in association with the Grayscale Partners Ted Caplow and Nathalie Manzano, McKenzie Design presents a future-forward concept in residential living. This innovative project will consist of three four-story townhomes, containing a rooftop solar array per unit, a single vertical core per unit for building mechanics, a clean layout that minimizes plumbing and mechanical runs, passive cooling systems, eco-conscious materials, daylighting and integrated circadian-controlled smart lighting, and locally-sourced landscaping elements, to name just a few of its many green focuses.
Highlight Feature: Grayscale’s design focuses on human wellness as well as considerations for sea level rise and long-term resiliency.
This project will provide new and exciting commercial and dining venues that bring art, entertainment and innovation to the emerging Magic City District.
This McKenzie Designed project embraces the surrounding area while giving it a new perspective by creating a unique inside out experience.
Highlight Feature: The merging of two historic warehouses with a central courtyard.
Less than a mile away from the heart of Brickell, this 3700 SF, four bedroom private family residence was designed to be light, airy, and a home for entertaining.
McKenzie Design worked closely with our client to help them envision their dream home and make it a reality. The palette of local coral stone, woods, concrete and steel achieve a unique tropical modern and exciting look. Double height spaces, an integrated garden, and a light filtering screen are some of the features this home has to offer.
Featured Highlight: The living room and kitchen open up to an exterior courtyard overlooking the pool and garden.
In the heart of Little River, this project offers prime retail and restaurant spaces in a community that is rapidly growing and adapting to change.
McKenzie Design has partnered with the city on a mission to bring Commerce Park back to life after over 20 years of fenced of adjacent properties being closed.
Featured Highlight: The upgraded park will have a direct connection with the retail and restaurant spaces, becoming a new and exciting amenity for the community.
